Apologies for the lack of posts this month,
they've been due to my time spent making arrangements to leave the country,
and the fact that my camera has been shooting blank film,
sad,
but a risk I'm aquainted with when using old cameras.
Not to fear, I'm moving to France shortly and photographic overload is to be expected!


 Yesterday was a cozy, lonely sort of day,

so I made my mother's chocolate chip cookies in the spirit of the holidays,

the ones we've been making since I was a little girl.

(They should be Santa cookies, but I usually deserve them more than him.)

Tis the season to do everything 'just because'.
